These terms apply to purchases made through this website and in our Georgetown store, and to installation and service work performed by Pure Wave Water Inc. By placing an order or booking a service you agree to them. Please read them before you buy.
Online orders and payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We do our best to keep pricing and stock levels accurate, but if a product is listed at an incorrect price or is unavailable we will contact you before charging you, and you may cancel for a full refund. Payment is processed securely at checkout; we do not store full card details.
Pickup and local delivery
Orders may be picked up at the store during business hours once you receive a ready notice. Local delivery is offered in Georgetown and the surrounding area for water, salt and other heavy items; delivery fees and areas are shown at checkout. Please make sure someone is available to receive heavy items, or tell us where they may be left.
Installation and service work
Installation and service quotes are provided in writing and list parts and labour separately. Work is scheduled after the quote is accepted. Additional plumbing, electrical or site work that was not visible at the time of the quote will be discussed with you before it is done. Existing plumbing must be in serviceable condition; we will tell you if it is not.
Warranties
Products carry the manufacturer’s warranty, the terms of which are provided with the product or available on request. Our installation labour is warranted against defects in workmanship for the period stated on your invoice. Warranties do not cover damage from freezing, improper maintenance, untreated water conditions outside the equipment’s rating, or work performed by others.
Returns and refunds
Unused products in original packaging may be returned to the store with a receipt within the period stated on our Refund and Returns Policy. Filters, membranes, UV lamps and other consumables that have been opened or installed cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Special-order items may be subject to a restocking fee that we will tell you about before ordering.
Water testing
Our free in-store water test is a screening tool intended to help you choose treatment. It is not a certified laboratory analysis. For bacteriological testing or results required by a lender, regulator or public health authority, we will refer you to an accredited laboratory.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid for that product or service. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection legislation in Ontario.
